Update + Minor Annoucement
Hello,
Recently I've done some work on Familiars, but with how long development would take, I think a smart direction to take this would be as a general display of conceptual systems as opposed to a full on game. While I would still like to pursue development of Familiars in the future, I think it would be better to do smaller, systems focused experiments.
And while I'm doing that, I think it would be a shame to not post the work I've recently done for Familiars, so I've decided to update the page with the most recent build. It is very much not perfect, but I think that it feels like what the game could be like in the future, and can show off what I intended the game to both feel and play like, albeit in a much simpler fashion.
Unfortunately, that does mean there are a likely quite a few bugs, some unfinished areas, and some mechanics aren't as fleshed out as I'd like. If you would be so kind, please think of this more as a prototype made for a pitch than a full game or demo.
